A post from me...WOW!!!
Life continues to pass faster than ever. Maybe because I'm busier at home, maybe because I'm getting older, maybe a combination of the two. Life is good! Unpredictable and unscripted, but good.
Malia is 4 1/2 months. I can't believe that she's already that old. The newborn stage passes more quickly with baby #2. My excuse for extra pounds of "just having had a baby" will soon be a lie. :( Malia's able to sit up in her Bumbo seat and is beginning to eat baby cereal. She's no longer a newborn and I'm sad with the thought.
(Funny thing. I've been listening to Pride & Prejudice for the past couple of days. I don't have much time to sit and read so I checked out from the library books on CD. Well, kind of on CD; the books are already on a little player and all you need it a set of headphones. So far I've listened to The DaVinci Code, A Little Princess, something from John Grisham (which was terrible), and next on the list Les Miserable. Anyway...I think my blog is reflecting some of the wordiness and old-fashionedness of P&P.)
Kai at 22 months rules the house. He's a sweet little man. (I have two top notch kids. I love 'em to death.) He's got a cold this week, complete with runny nose and watery eyes. I've been watching for an ear infection. He's never had one to my knowledge and I'm not sure what it will look like with him. I remember once as a kid that I had an ear infection, but mom didn't know. I hid my symptoms well and I wonder if Kai isn't the same way. Unfortunately, when he is sick he doesn't sleep well. You'd think it'd be the other way around, right? Sigh.
Kevin is one month away from being done with his bachelors. This is a long awaited event. Excitement is an understatement! :)
I'm more than happy to share with anyone who has interested in our move this summer to China, but I prefer to do it on an email basis. Email me if you want more info: kkbucher@gmail.com or kristinbucher@gmail.com.
We also have a family blog that we update once every couple of weeks.
Family Blog. You'll get a security page when you access the blog. It's safe. A friend of ours works with internet security and is helping us set up a secure blog that we can use in China. Parts of it may be password protected in the future, but at the moment are not. And we post pictures on our
website. Both desperately need to be updated.
Have a fantastic day, everyone!
